Who the controller is
The data controller is Bruni Raffaele, creator of Master Move. For any question about your data write to info@mastermove.it.
What data we collect and why
- "Write to us" form: the rating, the message and, only if you enter them, name and email. They are used to read your opinion and, if you ask, to reply to you. Legal basis: your consent and your request.
- Tournament sign-up: name or nickname, email and, if you provide them, city and level reached. They are used to organise the tournament and contact you. Legal basis: your consent. You will receive news about Master Move only if you ticked the box, and you can stop at any time.
- Challenge a friend: for remote games we store the name chosen by each player, the team colours, the moves of the game and the chat messages between the two players, together with a secret code saved on your device that lets you get back in. The challenge is deleted automatically after 10 days of inactivity.
- Tournaments between friends: we store the tournament name, the names chosen by the participants, the colours, the schedule and the results, together with a secret code saved on each person's device. The tournament is deleted automatically after 30 days of inactivity.
- "Did you enjoy it?" at the end of a game: we only collect the vote (yes/no), the level and the result of the game, anonymously.
- Counters: we count anonymously how often pages are opened and how many games are played. We do not use cookies and do not store your IP address.
Cookies and game stats
The site does not use cookies for profiling or advertising trackers. Your game stats (wins, losses, level) are saved only on your device, in the browser storage, and are not sent to us. You can delete them by clearing the site data in your browser.
Spam protection
To block automated submissions, the server keeps an encrypted (irreversible) fingerprint of your IP address for at most one hour, then deletes it.
Where the data is stored
The data is stored on the site's server at Aruba S.p.A. (Italy), the hosting and email provider, which acts as data processor. Messages and sign-ups also reach the mailbox info@mastermove.it. The data is not sold or passed on to third parties.
The pages use fonts provided by Google Fonts (Google Ireland Ltd.): to download them, your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address.
For how long
- Messages: up to 24 months, then they are deleted.
- Tournament sign-ups: until the end of the tournament, or until you ask for deletion.
- News about Master Move: until you ask us to stop.
Your rights
You can ask at any time to see, correct or delete your data, restrict its use, object to the processing or withdraw your consent, by writing to info@mastermove.it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (Italian Data Protection Authority).
Minors
You must be at least 14 to sign up for the tournament or leave your email. Under 14, a parent must sign you up.
